The following is an open letter from Dennis Kottke on the recent change in the executive management of the company.

To our valued customers, suppliers and partners,

On September 4, 2006, ProWorks celebrated its fifth anniversary.  Five years after its inception, ProWorks is a healthy, growing company with differentiated solutions, solid financial performance metrics and bright prospects.  Leading up to this milestone, I highlighted succession planning as a critical element of our ongoing strategy for success.  With this announcement, we are communicating some management changes which will position ProWorks with a management structure ready to take on the challenges of the long haul.  The changes are as follows:

1. Effective January 1, 2007, Bill Moradkhan will assume the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of ProWorks.  Bill has been with the company since its inception and has my trust and full confidence to address the opportunities and challenges we will face in the future.
2. I will retain my position as Chairman of the Board and continue my active, daily involvement with ProWorks.  The change will allow me to focus on the activities I enjoy most: troubleshooting, driving quality, overseeing process control improvements and providing advice on specific issues.

This move will be imperceptible to our customers, suppliers and partners on a day to day basis but is an essential part of a stable, long-term plan for ProWorks.

ProWorks is a privately held provider of advanced electronic manufacturing services. We operate two facilities in the heart of the Silicon Valley, with comprehensive service offerings that include product realization engineering, strategic supply chain management and optimization, build-to-order and configure-to-order direct fulfillment, PCBA and full system level manufacturing, test services, including 5DX, ICT, AOI, flying probe and functional test, and sustaining services, including product repair, RMA depot and BGA rework.  Since inception, we have established a reputation for high quality PCBA and system level manufacturing of complex products. Our operations and processes are certified to the ISO9001:2000, ISO14001:2004, AS9100-B, S.20.20 and IPC Lead Free Manufacturing standards.  ProWorks has internally developed a set of web based analysis and visibility tools that allow us unprecedented automation and control of both Supply Chain and Manufacturing processes.  These proprietary systems are made available to our customers using our branded Web portal, Haven, providing anytime/anywhere access to pertinent information about the status of the supply chain and the jobs on the factory floor.  The Company has acquired land and is in the process of building a 100,000 square foot facility in Sriperumbudur Hi-Tech Special Economic Zone, 40 kilometers west of Chennai, India.  This factory will be operational in mid 2009.
